Hot Rolled Plate

Similar to hot strip rolling, the slabs or ingots are reheated to the desired temperature in a walking beam furnace, a pusher furnace or a pit furnace.In hot plate rolling the slabs are much smaller and suitable for processing one, or multiple plate length mother plates. In contrast to strip rolling,the plate mill has capabilities to rotate the slab and roll it in both longitudinal and transverse directions,thus spreading the plate to wider widths as well as rolling to the desired plate thickness and length.

Main Application for Hot Rolled Plates

Hot rolled stainless steel plate has low hardness,free processing and good ductility and is widely used in the following fields:
