304 Stainless Steel Coil is a versatile austenitic chromium-nickel alloy renowned for its excellent corrosion resistance, formability, and weldability. As the most widely used stainless steel grade globally, it contains approximately 18% chromium and 8% nickel, providing optimal performance in diverse environments.
316 stainless steel is austenitic, primarily composed of iron, chromium (ranging from 16 - 18%), nickel (10 - 14%), and a significant addition of molybdenum (2 - 3%). The chromium content forms a passive oxide layer on the surface, which is the key to its corrosion - resistant properties. Nickel enhances the austenitic structure, improving its toughness and formability.
