Grade 316L is a low-carbon stainless steel with a lower carbon content compared to standard 316 stainless steel, typically below 0.03%. In addition to chromium, nickel, and molybdenum, its main components also include small amounts of titanium, silicon, manganese, phosphorus, and sulfur.Grade 316L possesses excellent corrosion resistance, especially in chloride environments.It also has good welding performance and can be processed through conventional welding methods.
